So, you want to become a yoga teacher? I know that we will be able to help you.

From experience I know what a difference qualification can make, even though we may trivialise it until we are qualified ourselves. The race for registration and certification has always been with us, but never more so than in this age of litigation. Even in Australia it is difficult (if not impossible) to get Professional Indemnity insurance without being a qualified Yoga teacher.

Our school was established in 1976, and has been teaching and training nationally and internationally since that time.

Those who plan to use the Distance Education Facility will have to have a yoga background, and have a yoga teacher prepared to log them in each month as having completed various physical homework modules. You can do the entire course out of the Studio, or you can do a combination of the two. Whichever you chose, you will in the end having completed the physical and theory elements of the course qualified at the 200 hours standard.

REGISTRATION: We also register Yoga Teachers who have completed years of actual teaching, but have no formal qualifications. Depending on the hours of teaching you have done, you may qualifiy to the RYTA500 level, and be able to use the letters RYTA500 after your name.
