Where are we?

YOGA FIRST House in Woodend, Victoria, is easily accessible by car off the Calder Freeway which passes the International Airport for those flying in and out either domestic or international. For Melbournians or those who prefer to stay in the City and day trip out to us, the train journey takes only an hour, and the station is only minutes away.

It's a wonderful trip out to us. We live in a lush green area on the slopes of Mt.Macedon, which in colonial times was the cool "Hill-Station" for the wealthy colonists. Most of the grand old buildings have been destroyed by bushfires, but they have been replaced by modern mansions. The area has lost little of its grandeur. For those of you who know New England, well you would love Mt.Macedon.

Although we have worked out of Amsterdam, London, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and etc, and travel Australia Wide. Rev. Jahne Hope-Williams has always had a residence in the Macedon Ranges. As Founder and Director, Yoga First and the Australasian Yoga Institute's heart is where she is.

At present Jahne is negotiating with past students in South Australia and New Zealand to open Yoga Distance Education Centres there. Adding to our Affilate body, this is a very exciting step in the growth of our Institute, and one that bodes very well for the future.

We recently received the "5 Star" leverl of accreditation from the International Accreditation and Recognition council.
